COMMUNITY PARKING PERMITS REQUIRED

This is a reminder notice that a valid parking permit is required between the hours of 7p-7a for all vehicles parked in common area parking spots, INCLUDING HANDICAP SPACES, and any vehicle in violation will be towed without warning.

HANDICAP PARKING

ALL VEHICLES, including handicap vehicles, require a Reliant issued parking permit designated for our community to be legally parked in any

common area parking spaces between the hours of 7pm and 7am.  Any vehicle parked in common area parking spaces not found to have on display in view an authorized Magnolia HOA guest parking permit or temporary permit, regardless of display of handicap permit, will be towed away at vehicle owner’s expense.  The designated handicap spaces are intended for use by guests to our community, not for the exclusive use of residents.

Parking Rules As Of September 21, 2020

The Board of Directors has been receiving many complaints from residents regarding the parking situation in the community.  The majority of these grievances are regarding residences not being in compliance of the association rule that at least 1 vehicle be parked in the garage or carport before any vehicle be parked in the community parking spaces.

Due to these regular grievances the Board has been regularly discussing possible solutions and has mailed to each owner the proposed ideas.  Following many months of discussion with a great amount of community involvement, The Board has voted to amend the Rules & Regulations, following a 30 day review period to as follows with amendments in bold:

10.PARKING RULES
10.1- There is no reserved parking in the common area.  Residents are required to park at least one highway-legal, registered vehicle in their garage or carport at all times.  All vehicles parked in the common area must be operable and have current registration.
10.2- Permits are required in all common area parking from 7:00pm to 7:00 am.  Permits must be clearly displayed at all times.  Any vehicle not displaying a valid Instant Guest Permit or Valid Resident Permit in the common area between 7pm-7am will be subjected to immediate tow at vehicle owner’s expense.  Each unit will be authorized one resident parking permit and will have a monthly allowance of seven (7) single night instant guest permits available through our parking management company or by self service (use this link).
10-3 All streets and alleyways inside Countryside are designated fire lanes and must be kept clear of parked vehicles at all times. Unattended vehicles will be towed and impounded at owner’s expense.
10.4- Garages and carports are to be used for the parking of passenger vehicles.  Garages may be used for storage only so long as such use does not prevent the parking of at least one (1) highway-legal, registered passenger vehicle therein.  Garages may not be used as living space or for recreational purposes.
10-5- The following are considered parking violations within Countryside:
A- Parking in excess of 72 consecutive hours without being moved.
B- Unattended vehicles in fire lanes at anytime
C- Recreational vehicles parked in common area parking (boats, camper/trailers and motor homes, etc.)
D- Vehicles backed into spaces
E- Oversized vehicles (a vehicle and anything attached to it or is carried in that does not fit within confines of the parking space.
F- Non-operable vehicles, vehicles with expired registration or missing plates
10.6- Enforcement of parking violations:
A- Violations of any of these rules will result in immediate tow.

The proposed parking rules were approved during the April 2018 meeting and are now in effect.
